Clinging

There are times when God asks us to do something that we really don't understand. It may be something that we don't want to do. It may be something that doesn't make any sense. It may even be something painful. 

But the only way to respond to God's command is, "Yes, Lord." 

Whether we like it or not. 
Whether we understand it or not. 
Whether we see the end result of it or not. 

I'm in that place right now. So right now, I'm holding onto Jeremiah 29:11:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Our God can be trusted. Clinging to that tonight.
